Description
Our tour begins in Candelaria, about 20 kilometres south-east of Santa Cruz.
Candelaria is the home of the patron saint of the Canary Islands: the Virgen de Candelaria, known as ‘la morenita’. It is considered a sanctuary. From there we continue to La Laguna, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Here you have time to enjoy the old town.
We continue to the north of the island to La Orotava, full of history and beauty, and take you to the Casa de Los Balcones. Here you can admire the authenticity of Canarian handicrafts.
The next stop is Garachico, once the island’s main port, destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1706 and now famous for its natural pools of volcanic origin.
On the way back we will pass through the Teno Rural Park to visit the picturesque mountain village of Masca, which offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Tenerife!
Pick up in the south included!
