Description
We leave Puerto de los Cristianos and take the ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island’s capital. Once there, we begin the climb to the Garajonay National Park, a paradise of laurel forests and a nature reserve declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
We stop at the Degollada de Peraza viewpoint, where you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of the island.
We continue through La Palmita and directly into the National Park to the villages of Las Rosas and Agulo, where we will have lunch in a typical Gomera restaurant. There we will see a live demonstration of the famous Silbo Gomero, a special means of communication.
We return to San Sebastian through the Hermigua Valley, where you can see the last historical fortifications of Christopher Columbus’ passage before his departure to America.
