Description
Our tour begins in Candelaria, about 20 kilometres south-east of Santa Cruz. Candelaria is the home of the patron saint of the Canary Islands, the Virgen de Candelaria, known as ‘la morenita’. It is considered a sacred place of pilgrimage.
We continue along the south-east coast to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, where you will have some free time.
The next stop is the Mirador de Los Gigantes, whose main attraction is the impressive cliffs that rise up to 500 m. From there you have a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean!
We stop for lunch at El Tanque (lunch not included).
Then we continue to Garachico, the former main port of the island, destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1706 and now known for its natural pools of volcanic origin.
Finally, we stop in Icod de los Vinos, where you will have time to admire the famous dragon tree.
Pick up in the north!
